The Day of the Dead is for Mexicans, a reunion, a "long-awaited" wait, it is a party, it is joy, it is consenting to the soul of those who are no longer there, with flowers, drinks and a great feast, it is giving space to those wonderful memories, is to relive a moment and therefore the presence of a person.
To celebrate life during this much loved and tasty Mexican tradition, here at House we have created 2 events that will surely fascinate you:
I. “La Ofrenda” A magical evening with a special 7-course tasting dinner designed to celebrate our beloved “Day of the Dead” with delicious dishes and elixirs!
II. A special “Dia De Muertos” menu with seasonal dishes and ingredients to celebrate life in this beloved tradition in Mexico. For a whole week!
On the night of Thursday, October 31, Chef Karina Rodríguez and Mixologo Cristhian Bustos presents a 7-course dinner, inspired by Mexican cuisine and the Day of the Dead celebration in Janitzio.
Tonight the offering, the legends, the altar and the memory of a loved one influence the soul of the preparation of each dish.
That is why, on this occasion we will pause to catch our breath, giving that feeling an offering of dishes.
The dinner will take place on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at House Restaurant, inside the Boutique Hotel Las Casas B + B. This is a private event with limited capacity, so naturally those who book first will take priority.
